With this app, people can post when certain places get crowded in real time so others can avoid it when they feel uncomfortable by this. There would be pins in a map to be able to see what places are crowded the most to least with a colored pin on each place, and people would be able to leave comments as well on what is happening in that area. If there is a certain place that needs to be looked up, you can plug the address in and see how busy it is at that time to determine if you feel comfortable going.
Our mission is to lower social anxiety and discomfort in public areas by providing crowdsourced data on the crowd levels of a given area or business so that everyone can have the best experiences in public possible regardless of disabilities, anxiety, or other obstacles.

The Objective
This project was a group project and my team wanted to create an app for crowd control since it was during the time of the pandemic. We tried to think of everything that could be a possibility of what could be crowded and how to determine it. Each person worked on a different part of it to divide the work evenly and work as a team.
The Solution
After many trial and errors, we finally were figuring out how that app would function. We had a survey for others to take to get a sense of anxiety in crowds first, then moved on to interview a few people to see how they felt about crowds. There was even seeing how other apps work to see what we liked in them to incorporate into our app. Each of us worked on a certain part but made sure that we all helped each other when the other needed it in creating it.
